Psytrance videos, along with other dance music genres have a standard convention of only using a narrative in their videos, this is done because psytrance doesnt usualy have any insturments as it is electronic music, only realy made up on a laptop and a midi keybourd.
We are desiding to go against these conventions as it would be much more interesting for somone within the age range on 18 to 22 to watch a narrative whilst also seeing the artist at work. This is because just watching a narrative can be boring and watching just the artist at work can be boring. This is shown well in the infected mushroom video for becoming insane where both a narrative and shots of the artists working are used.
